Another of me ebay sniping bargains
t13 35 quid, no handle no cable.SO new cable 75 quid 20 metres and at least ya no its not been stressed.Handle of scaffold oiked off site.Nice.Well done for getting him out!

I've been trying to hide as i'm so embarrased
I guess until the next time someone does it i'm the new nelly!!:eek:

I have no real defence for my actions.. I was going to take an easier route but changed my mind at the last minute to do a lane i hadn't done before..
I stopped at the first of the bad rocky steps and thought if i do it there's no way back up, i'll have to make it to the bottom, a guy on a trail bike turned up and when i asked him he said if i could get down it there was nothing worse further down! Doh..
I went into a bypass around a 4 foot deep step with deep soft clay under it and sank straight up to the bumper in clag...

Lesson well and truly learnt- never do a lane you don't know or may need help with on your own, always carry decent recovery kit, cb, food, water etc. check the whole lane before starting! Never take your kids with you if you're gonna get stuck and can't get em back to the ex missus in time (in the shxt for that one!)

Massive massive thanks to- Snifflebag for the hippo taxi and good company, Kris tdi, booger & mate, Redwings & family! for the all your help getting me out and down the hill Despite getting caked in mud late at night! Daft for manning the lines and all those on standby if they were needed!
I'd of been fooked without you all helping, first round at the pub meet's on me ;)

Included a few pics including a couple of the lane above where i got stuck as redwings couldn't take any coz it was dark when he rattled his family down it to me!
Feel free to call me nelly  until the next person does it :p
Just got back from todays laning round amazingsmoke and me rear diffs whining like buggery so i'm gonna hide for a while now

Funnily enough we'd done some fords earlier in the day, one of which was about 40 yards across, halfway through i picked up too much speed and the bow wave came up over the bonnet and up through the heater and shot all up the inside of the screen, nipper says to me- daddy, you've turned big car into a boat :D

cor thats well and truly stuck

i would have come down, but i was in wales, which is a touch far. had the worst come to the worst i coulda come down and caught up with ratty on the way, but i managed to get through to booger and knew they were on their way

good stuff guys, glad all involved managed to sort emselves out!
