:welcome2:to me...This is my first time on any forum...I was wondering if I can legally drive my lightweight with the doors off? (Well I would if it was running) but it should be in a couple of weeks.....

the lightweight was designed to be stripped down and still driven. So should be fine as it is being used as it was designed to be used.
Very useful when it comes to the MOT.

talkin of MOT , when i busted me screen a few days before mine, on me series2, i took the spare wheel of the front , dropped the screen down , took off the truck cab, job done, pass. good job as the wipers dint work either !

If it was the passengers side you would have got away with it with the screen up (being a split screen) same for the wipers, i still don't have screen washers for mine, although im told your meant to retro fit them, i have no front indicators, and no seatbelts

yeah , i dint kno weather to risk it or not , like yer say it were ok being a split screen but i just thort better safe than sorry , give me chance to drive it open fer a week or so in the sun .
