Hi
Only pic I have is on back of merc flatbed that picked it up but will try get a pic downloaded... It was black.. Reg M1HEC
Had a dent on drivers door where itcaught it and caught wing just below the wing mirror.... Font grill and side vents were painted black and clear side indicators..had discovery in black on front bonnet
I don't think I'll see ma disco again but in of chance it was spotted...
On garage order form chassis no 602852 and engine number 0586302306DT..
Wandered if landrover could trace through the sat nav or any other way??
Do you recall it's plate before you put yours on? If it is being sold on, they are unlikely to sell it with your plate but might be stupid enough to re-register it with DVLA

P.s for those looking on a drive past , if plate has been changed it's a 2011 not 2012

I appreciate yer some distance away. Have yer had someone drive past or poke about to see if they can see yer motor?
There was guy on site jabber offering to help and take pics as happened to him but went dead and never replied so wandered if he was part of it and if any one was looking for their vehicle they would shift on.. . Very dodgy when he offered this and when I gave him reg and colour I never heard from him again..

Not really it's the other side of town but no great shakes to take a ride over. Prob be after Christmas now though pal.
Cheers.. Have you heard of this garage at sunbeam Street.. Looks like it was a cash and carry before looking at Google maps..

Edit- if the wife gets up soon (night shift) I'll take a look cuz traffic looks ok

How long ago did you hand over the vehicle?

Nope never heard of it. Like I said it's other side of wolves I don't get much cause to go over there.

This other chap you had on the ground sounds very dodgy.

Just been looking into it, I am not sure exactly what engine that has in it. But a 4.0 range rover engine short block recon seems to be about £3,250+vat from Turner.
So even allowing for a recon gearbox and ancillaries, and labour, you appear to be right, that is a bit OTT.
Phoned landrover dealer in Inverness and told them I had a suspected engine seizure and they came back with 20500 for a new engine to be fitted.. Hence I didn't contact another landrover dealer.. . Now finding this site I know I would have been sorted..

Land Rover dealers are well known for charging arms and legs. I assumed it was a local indie garage that had given you that quote.
The dealer are the only people who will have access to the database of what vehicles were sold, to whom, and when. And also any info about possible tracking. You need to contact them again.

Thank you .. If you could also find manni thandi and stick him in your boot . Post him up I'd be grateful to haha

Have you a actually told the police it's stolen? There are technicalities involved in what is and isn't theft. It is assumed their not going to give it back so it is stolen. With deception involved due to the method used to obtain the vehicle.

Yip informed them but they said as its down south its just a case of wiring until they take the case on as vehicle theft isn't high priority down there even tho I told them where it Was . I researched it all for them but still didn't do me any good ..

What's people's thoughts on the chance of me spotting it being slim to none, as it's Christmas eve and the garage is prob shut? Or the sooner it's scoped out the better?
I reckon it's well gone but just if you were close to pass would be of chance its sitting there.. I reckon I paid for new engine to go in and its gone to a new owner..
