Landrover freelander td4 starting problem

Hi all new to this site was hoping someone might have some advice am havin problems some times when starting my freelander td4 up sometimes starts fine others it just turns then starts an judders then cuts out then will start with a bit white smoke and run fine tried a few things got me puzzled any help would be appreciated thanks

You need to try a Jeep forum. This one is for Land Rover's.;)

Being serious, it could be the rail sensor has corrosion on the contacts. It could even be a failing injector. Really you need to strip down the induction system for a good clean and go through all the electrical connections on the sensors.
What's the maintenance been like on it?

It's a freelander td4 06 haha sorry forgot to put that in
 
I've only owned it for a few month in which I've done low pressure pump and filter put into garage for injector test replaced 2nd injector worked for about couple days then started doin same thing had garage plug computer in today and was told only fault was engine speed but no code to identify why
