I recently bought an 04 Landrover Freelander and have been working on it. Had to find the code to get the stereo going. After i got the radio going i noticed that one of the rear speakers wasn't working so i took out the door panel to have a look. As soon as i disconnected the speaker the radio started cutting in and out. I thought maybw there was a frayed wire near the faulty speaker but could not see any apparent problem. The radio sputtering worsened and eventually no sound came out of all the speakers. I took the head unit out and tried disconnecting it and then reconnecting it back on to see if it will "reset". Nothing happened. What does you think is wrong with it?
