Hi all, could i have some advice on the following points please?
1. My alternator gave up the ghost recently and at the same time the rev counter stopped as well. I had a refurbed unit fitted. However the rev counter is still not working. The garage checked the refurbed unit and said its working fine and is wired up correctly and that a fuse might have failed. Does this sound plausible or have i got an issue with the refurb unit. I should add that i supplied the refurb unit and not the garage that fitted it for me.
2. My drivers side window is playing up a bit, it goes up and down almost normally but when going up, it wont actually close fully, it stops about half an inch short (this occurred over the winter when the ice had frozen the windows and i tried to open it one morning thinking it had had time to defrost.
When it gets to the top and stops short there is a loud clicking sound coming from the door. Can someone tell me how to get the inside of the door panel off to take a look at the window mechanism?
