ALRC Member Clubs

There are a few of us on here that trial but take a look down the list and find your most local club. Then email or contact them and turn up to watch. Most clubs may well get you more involved with helping out marshalling which is good as you get your hand dirty before getting the competition bug

JTV age 8 Years to 14 years for the younguns to grasp the idea behind trialling,

Tyro - Beginners first time/shiney motors 14 Years and above. Very strict rules and zero damage to vehicle but not very rough. ( i drive my old mand std disco sometimes for a giggle)

RTV Road Taxed Vehicle, Usually a std ish vehicle with a set of mud tyres drive there take part drive home. Terrain is alot more demanding than TYRO but minimal risk of damage (However sometimes driver error means you get the odd OOPs)!

CCV Cross Country Vehicle, These are roll caged, out and out trials motors built to take knocks ending up on your side or roof is common place but the vehicles are built with that in mind

Pennine thats where my old 80 was last used according to the door sticker. I think the OP has a bobbed disco.

theres the doncaster district land rover club near me.they dont do trialing but i cud do with joining the club anyway

Seconded on the ALRC link above.

I went and watched the SWLRC Mendip Challenge yesterday, got wet and covered in mud and was just watching :)

Good giggle, CCV's are good, listening to all those V8's being bounced of the limiter :)
