Hello all, as I have had my land rover series 2 td5 2001 4x years now this year and spent a fortune on it. one thing after another some stuff not expensive and other bits very expensive to much stuff I have had I can not remember them all its one thing after another you end up being that much money into it you can not get rid off it. but this time I think enough is enough I am not good with motors so you have to rely on others to help you and pay them or a garage. I am starting to think that there the worst 4x4 on the road ??,I need something to pull my caravan 23ft ton an half any thoughts I could blow it up LOL :violent:

it was 9 years old when you got it and it's now 13 years old.

how well do you want it to work?

Land Rovers are crap but we all love them, if you want reliable buy a slitty ;)

you chaps must go of roading in them I have not done that yet but I surepose they come into there own then ???? I fancy a go at green laneing but don't want it getting damaged

don't want any tarmac don't want deep water lol if like the sunroofs leeking it will go down faster than the titanic

Hang on a minute ... This thread says it's about a Series 2, and it's actually about an FN Disco, and you want to go off road along some green lanes, and you don't want to get it scratched, and you are fed up of paying for repairs and servicing!!!

Why DFNL did you get a Landy if you are not prepared to get down and get dirty and learn how to get enjoyment and satisfaction out of looking after your own vehicle?
