IN MY SHED
Well today I went to collect some timber sheets with my old fella
when we arrived my heart sank
there were so many old landrovers just rotting away I was gutted
I spoke to the owner of the place about a 110 defender in white that was basically falling apart, he told me he had purchased the landy from new and the last time it moved was 2006

I did try my best to buy it but he was having none of it, so so sad

I will get pics on when my phone asap

it happens.

near me there an old guy with a small yard full of various series landies, all with bits missing, but,
this old guy rebuilds them into stunning looking series in as original as he can..
my grandson urges me to drive past just to look at the weird sheeted and unsheeted landies just sitting..

sorry-dont do photos ...

well as promised

The guy may be selling parts though, he had a disco outside for sale and the series's weren't rotting either they looked like they were fairly well looked after or at least most of them did

Guy I picked up my axles from had a series one 86" from 1953 I think, one of the last 86's he said. His dad had it at 16 then its been parked up for a good 40 years probably and in need of restoration. Was still on the original tiny wheels n tyres :p
