"land rover" engine hood

hi all..im just wondering whether the "LAND ROVER" letters at the engine hood is a sticker or paint or something else?? mine been missing since i bought it so thinking of to put in on back...so mates,what is it really ..??? thanks a lot.

They're just stickers, mine are anyway. I had a decal on an old car made of the same stuff. It looked awful, so you can warm the glue up with a heat gun and pull them off.
I'm sure fleabay will be able to provide you with a new set, but if your old ones are (well) old, it's fairly likely they will have faded, so you might as well zip off the lot and start again.

(by the way, I read your head gasket woes with interest and I hope all is good with that now)

thanks INK for the input...so i will be searching for the sticko from now..heheh...yes abt the gasket so far so good since im not on long haul journeys heheh..now only in town only..maybe xmas will try her out on long distance.....n see how she holds...

i wouldnt recommend the sticker reproductions you can get on the internet. got one on mine and it looks poo:doh:

I'm after a front wing ES sticker and have been advised to go to dealer, they can't charge that much for a sticker afterall

hi mates thanks for all the info...ive made a new decal in local shop..cost me about 1.60 pounds equivalent...how is it guys??...

..its all weather proof...the maker said it can last 3-4 years ...unless somebody go peel it off hehe...
