Land Rover 90

Tidy but were is the oil leaks engine very clean nice ninty

It is a very clean example of a Land Rover, wish my Land Rovers previous owner was as careful.

Well, at least they put it on a galvanised chassis, that was thoughtful of them.

When I posted those pics, I realised that most of them were taken in about 2011, so as the 90 was in the shed for a few maintenance things, I thought I would get a few updated pics. Not changed all that much, electric fans are gone, steering guard gone, bullbar is back.





It certainly hasn't improved cosmetically either, more scratches and dents, but I do think that should be considered as a fine patina in the case of classic off roaders:

Seriously. though, it has been a fantastic vehicle for me, as I said before, the previous owner had it for fifteen years, he kept it completely standard, apart from a few checker plates and so on, and he serviced and maintained it by the book all those years.
When I got it in 2008 I went right through it, replaced everything worn, complete new suspension, welded in a door pillar, new turbo, IP, serviced injectors, everything I could find.

Since then it has just been used on the farm, laning, and local driving. Touch wood, I have barely laid a spanner on it, except for the usual oil changes and other maintenance jobs. I also used it for towing trailers for four years, until I got the Disco, and was able to retire the 90 from that job.

Lucky I even know how to use photobucket to be honest.
Never tried imgur either, just opened another pb account, which I now have 3 of

Yep it's still one of the cleanest land rovers I've seen. Hoping mine will look this smart once it's been done.

It has, I have done everything that needed doing,since I bought it in 2008, no corners cut,no expense spared, except as regards the exterior appearance!

And the previous owner had had it since 91, always put into the main dealer for everything all those years, must have cost a fortune.

I like it too, it has been an able workhorse for seven years, road, farm and a bit of towing, and had a few great laning outings too!
