Land Rover 90

I must say I prefer to see an unmolested old 90 that's been generally looked after (apart from needing a bit of paint in places ) over a rebuilt one with loads of mods.

Yes, me too, tis why I made it like that.

And shiny paint only attracts thieves, and would not survive my interference fit vegetation habit!

It is a bit more modified than you think, the mods aint visible!

I like that rig ALOT!! reminds me of my friends ald girl GEKO a 19j to 200tdi truck cab G,reg i will get one one day hav a C reg 90 though, keep up the good work mate

I shall do my best to keep up the good work, certainly planning to keep on with trying to continuously improve it. I look on it as a vehicle for life.

I do use it for laning, not as much as I would like, mainly used on the farm. Very heavy, greasy clay here!

7.50x16 look just right on a LR IMO - fills the arches without sticking out to much and looking daft

See what you mean! I don't dislike that, doubt if he chose the colours cos that's what he had left over in his paint cupboard, though!

I like them! 7.50 were specced for lr for decades, first for LWB series, then for 90/110. Profile tyres came along later in the day. I don't like anything too wide, very skatey unless they have a very knobbly tread.
