Hi,
I was getting a slight fuelling glitch at 40mph in top and I had a Lambda fault code , no signal received bank 1 and bank 2. It was suggested that I had a 'lazy' lambda, as the fault was intermittent
I bought 2 off fleabay used for 40 squid the pair, they were meant to be off a 2002 v8 . I have a 2000 v8.
When i went to change them today the connecters were different. Male on the 'new' ones and female on the fitted ones???? the sensors looked right , just the connectors.
Also I thought that the d2 had 4 sensors , 2 pre cat and 2 after. I can only see the 2 pre cat on the down pipes in the engine bay.

I would be grateful if anyone can shed any light.
thankss

If youve got the Motronic engine (Bananas) then they should be zirconia sensors. I wouldnt waste your time with second hand ones, bite the bullet and get OE parts from a good specialist. It does make a difference. I believe the American market has 4 sensors - UK spec only 2

thanks,
I've ordered some genuine ones and the used are going back to flea bay.
weird tho he said they were off a 2002 'test' car. could have been the rear ones but I've been told they are female connectors too???
