Hi, does anybody know of a good diesel engine specialist near Biggleswade, nr Bedford? Last year we had a professionally rebuilt 300tdi fitted into a fire service vehicle after the previous engine was distroyed after a runaway issue caused by the turbo. For whatever the reason, the old injector pump was used. Engine starts and runs fine without any real smoke, but several of our drivers are reporting a lack of power. I've been asked to find a good diesel expert that could check the pump timing and assist us in getting the lack of power sorted.
BTW I'm a newbie and use this forum as a great source of information in connection for my role of maintaining our 4 Defender based fire trucks (3x127 V8's and 1x300tdi 110).
