Lack of acceleration and black smoke

Hi any help would be great .. my disco 3 suffers a lack of power which I clear through reving or acceleration but in doing so a plume of black smoke is blown out … cheers

hi

please check the left hand intercooler hose as u look at the engine , common for the bend to get a split in it

plus if it helps post over in the disco section as more of us will see it
