L322 v8 Acceleration issue

Hi All,

My L322 has developed an issue. When at lights or a junction when I have to pull out quickly the car does nothing when I put my foot down. I have to take my foot off and back on again for it to take off. Once it goes it off with no issues. Yet I can put my foot down normally and I never get an issue.

Any help would be great, it's a 2004 BMW 4.4 v8 with 80k. Recently done the gearbox fluid and filter change.

Check the intake manifold for air leaks...also the PCV valve for deterioration....

When you say nothing happens, do you mean the engine doesn't Rev or it revs and you get no drive ?
