My RR L322 V8 Petrol 4.4 Has suffered cooling problems since new, now 5 yrs + 4 radiators. The head gaskets are blown. Possible liner damage I want to do the job myself can anyone suggest a good workshop manual or give any first hand info tips..

if you have issues from new, sand you are the original owner then there should be a way that landrover will sort the issue out free. if its been documented, and your the original owner ask for a copy of all files held on you, this should include visits to lr. then get the details emailed off to watch dog or some other consumer helper like CAB and see what they can do.

if its had problems from new then it wasnt fit for purpose!!!!!

if its had 4 rads fitted by lr then they have had ample time to sort the underlying issue out!!!!

Because the BMW M62 engine has only been used in L322 from 2002 (to 2005) these cars are generally still too young to have had major engine problems. However the same engine was used in 5 & 7 Series BMWs from 1998 (1996 for the non-VANOS version) so you’re more likely to get information from BMW forums – for example http://www.e38.org
