L322 td6 buying advice

Must have been recovered for some reason. My understanding is that all P38s had Connolly leather. Superior to whatever they used on the L322 (Connelly ceased trading in 2002).
The 322 vogue has a nicer quality leather than the hse IIRC.
 
Own both, both great cars in their own right...comparing them is useless...

The P38 is Land Rover biased and as such should be compared to the other Land Rover products of the time...

The L322 is BMW derived and was designed and developed to compete with the Merc ML's, BMW X's and such like...

It fecking annoys me that people keep perpetuating the same argument, if you dislike the L322, don't buy one, no one is forcing you...if you don't like the P38....similarly don't buy one...

I have both, one is a big, safe car with the ISOfix mounts for the car seat for my 3.5 month old baby girl...the other is a comfortable daily driver and I am pleased with both (even though they both have their own faults at the moment!)

Thanks for replies , never wanted to compare to a p38" have owned a p38 and was nothing but problems, even though when it was working it was a nice car

wanted to know more on what to look out for when buying a l322
