L322 td6 2004 auto has battery drain. There is what sounds like a fan running behinde the dash when ignition is off that wont stop which i belive is draining the battery. Can anyone help. I have changed the final stage resistor. This hasent helped.

There is a tiny fan i nthe HEVAC control panel to draw cabin air over a sensor. this will run on for a few minutes after switch off and is normal.

If it continues indefinitely, that is not normal!

Most common battery drain issues are FSR (which you have done), wiper motors not parking properly, alternator diode pack, water leak into near side rear corner electronics etc.

Thanx for that. I will investigate
