L322 screen monitor satnav/phone

Hi new to RR,
I currently have a l322 2005 touchscreen monitor.

The monitor has a button for satnav and phone, the phone conncection looks like an oldschool connection in the armrest, is there an adapter from this to iphone?

Also the satnav says navigation not fitted, is there an easy way to purchase this and fit it?

If so i understand you can connect tv and reverse cameras also. I have zero knowlege on these things and any help would be appreciated.
 
Better to research a Bluetooth unit for the phone connection, I am pretty sure there is no iPhone adaptor available.

As for the Nav system, there should be a CD/DVD Nav computer in the boot, behind the L/H panel. If the battery has been disconnected without waiting for the Nav Computer to shutdown, it can fry its little brains never to work again!

Check in the boot for the Computer and see if it is a) plugged in and b) little red light on the front!

The TV system originally was Analogue, and now that has been turned off, you'll need a digital module to connect in, luckily they are plug and play!

Do a goooooooooooooogle search, you discover a few places for the TV module...but be warned, a replacement Nav unit, a Bluetooth module and the TV device will set you back some major coinage!
 
Would a bluetooth connection work with the screen or do you mean somthing like a parrot device?

Also if the digital tv is plug and play would this mean a button would appear on the screen sayin tv? As currently i have no tv option at all

You can get a bluetooth module that will work through the screen... I have a Parrot device as it was a)cheaper and b) I don't have a touch screen system.

As for the TV, I still have a TV option on my menu screen just don't get any signal.....

If you don't have that option at all, maybe the module has been disconnected or worse, fried....

The L322 suffers from water ingress into the L/H corner where all the expensive kit is....and just so happens this is where the TV Module, Logik 7 or DSP amps are, the Sat Nav and other such infotainment devices....if yours has had water ingress, it could have fried some bits...

Time to get into the boot and get behind the panel and start looking at connections for signs of corrsion of water damage!

Seems a bit of a coincidence that you have no Nav and no TV option....

Also What is your model? Vogue, Vogue SE, HSE or SE???
 
Vogue SE v8, i dont seem to know what type of head unit i have, i have read that they changed it in 2006 onwards and 2002-2004 wasnt touch. Bit confused with what unit model im looking for upgrades on
 
2006 Touch Screen used the MOST (Media Orientated Systems Transport) Data stream....

Not sure on HU fitment, but aslong as it is comaptible withthe MOST system (which is fibre optic based) rather than the CANbus (Twisted pair based) you *should* be OK
 
Is there a way i can find this out?

Is there anywhere i can purchase the things i need online, anyone knows of
