L322 Rocker box gasket removal

Hi I live in N Wales just outside the village of Llanfynydd. On Offa 's Dyke. I've had a number of Range Rovers and Land Rovers in the past.
I have a problem, maybe of my own making, in removal of the Plastic cover form the centre of the rocker box.
Do you just pull it of ? I am having some difficulty removing it. I don't want to force it ic case I break something that is holding it in position.
