Good afternoon all, I've recently purchased an l322 having had two p38's, with the what now seems usual rear arch rust. I've not yet started to rub it down or anything but was wondering if anywhere or anyone has yet come out with repair panels in order to cut the old arch sections out and replacing it with fresh steel?
I have used the search function but joy found anything yet. If anyone can point me at a thread covering this then I'd appreciate it or any other help. Thanks, Andy.

@B16FUN ,
I too have looked into (1/2 hour googling) this and afaik there are no commercially available repair panels.
They are getting to an age where some (not all) have succumed to the dreaded tin worm.

Scabby as yours may appear it's likely just surface so a grind back and a coat of treatment may work for you. (+ associated repainting)!!

Other options are make your own panel, cut a section out of another L322 or even cutting a similar looking section of another marque and trimming to suit.

Cheers for the replies guys. It looks like a potentially lucrative gap in the market as this looks like a really common issue. I'll have to start cleaning it back and see just what I'm working with! However, if anyone has found anything available or that works to replace it then please let me know.

Well I am in Edinburgh at the moment so may have partaken in a few wee drams! Lol! I've messaged a couple of companies that specialise in classic car repair panels that also offer bespoke panels, normally for vintage vehicles where panels aren't available, to see what sort of cost having repair sections would cost and if there are a minimum order quantity, etc. When/if I hear anything I'll report back as others may be interested in these.
Slainte!
Andy.
