Hi! Fellas,
I'm looking at upgrading the "Ol' Girl" -'96 P38 DSE to an L322 TD6. I've seen a nice one (2002), it is badged as a VOGUE, but it don't have sat-nav....I've got a sneaking suspicion that it could be an HSE!....How can I find out? I don't want to ask the seller outright at this stage. Did all Vogues have sat-nav?...are there any other tell-tale signs of its true identity?...it has got retractable mirrors and parking sensors!....Any help would be appreciated! Any pointers as to price?..its got 82k on the clock.
Cheers All!

Doesn't sound like a Vogue.

If it has a single CD player associated with the radio head unit and information display in the centre of the dashboard, it's an HSE.

Most Vogues also have heated rear seats.

My 2002 4.4 HSE has 137,000 miles on the clock, but is in pretty good nick. I'd be lucky ot get £6K for it. You're looking at a doosle with lower mileage, so you might be looking at £7K to £8K.

Keep a £1K kitty as a contingency, or buy an extended warranty.

Some where on here says the Vogue is the entry level???

Plus iv seen a HSE Vogue..... or have i dreamed this somewhere?

So what are the correct models of RR in order, from entry level to top dog? :(

Thanks for your info!....I really appreciate the level of expurt-ise on this great forum!....I'm of the opinion that it is an HSE....but the VOGUE badge looks to have been in position for ever....no hint of jiggery-pokery!....I'll try and get the VIN and forward it on....Cheers Chaps!....Damn nice car though....

desertrover,

BEWARE! It is not an easy job to upgrade an HSE to screen based audio/video/satnav.

I fitted an aftermarket touch screen head unit to mine which uses the existing amp and speakers.
