I asked a few question about buying an l322 a while ago and been looking for the right car,
I have unfortunately missed a few potential good cars coz I never had my impreza rehomed. Now that it is sold I am in a better position to buy one.

There is a black v8 vogue in Dundee with 119k miles on an 02 plate for £7600 on gumtree but it has no service book, I am told it has a full history but previous owner lost the book.
Is there any way of recovering the service info or is this a car I should stay clear of?

Sounds alot for an L322 '02 V8 with that kind of mileage.
I'm sure you can get service history from main dealers (providing all work has been done by them, which is rare given it's age). Personally i would stay well clear. You can get much better for less than that.

Ok
Think I was maybe jumping a bit with it because it's the closest one to me.
I have seen a couple others one with lpg for just under 7k from a garage same age and similar miles with history, at least there would be some sort of come back if it goes all wrong on the way home, lol

Would like to get a wanted ad on here but not enough posts yet to let that happen unfortunately

Does the forum rules have anything against posting gumtree or autotrader links?

No rule for links as far as I know...(aslong as it ain't porn)

The links worked OK for me.

I would advise forgetting the second one (not far from me) as they have a reputation of just sourcing from Auctions, giving them a wash then sticking a couple of thousand on the price without checking them over at all.
