L322 heater not working

Hi, I've got a 2006 with no heater controls what so ever. If I unplug the black plug at rear of controls, rear heater blower comes on cold, there is power at the 3 pin plug at rear of controls. Bought new heater control panel but no difference, still no lights or blowers etc, any ideaswould be great, cheers james

Not that I'm aware of. In that case look at the fuses etc.

Then it may be a case of corroded connectors. Someone who knows more about your model of car will be along.

A fuse can look fine because it isn't making proper contact in its connection. Try cleaning the contact points and wiggle the fuses in question once they are in place to see if the heater comes alive.

It happened on my RRC.

I'm assuming there is only 3 fuses, 12, 34 and 56? And 64 for blower

I've checked the fusesive listed there, wiggled and put a test light across them.

Hedgehog won't stop other functions from working - it only controls the power to the blower fan.

If fuses check out, remove the control panel and make sure you are actually getting power to it, and check the connections for signs of corrosion - then try diagnostics.

If those fail, try a known good panel as a subsitute if possible. I think I changed out my panel as it went bandy - but that would have been 10-11 years ago now so cant remember if I did change it in the end or if it was something else!

I got to the end of problem! Checked the 3 feeds and 1 earth, it was missing an ignition feed to control panel, never actually found the problem but ran a new feed and all good! Thankyou for your help everyone.
