hello everyone!
have the following problem with my 2002 l322 tdv6.
i have got air susp .inactive message.the suspension is locked into midlle. there are no lights up in the control switch for the suspension. i tried to find the problem using a launch and a bosch diagnosis units. could acces all modules, but the eas one. it gives the message: not able to comunicate with the module. took eas out but nothing seems to be wrong with it. all fuses and relays are ok.
did anyone had the same problem?
your help would be much apreciated

thank you for your reply. quiet far from herts! in romania at the moment. i tried the compressor and it seems to pump air fine.
if the pump is gone it wil not comunicate with the testbook?
are there any other situations when the eas ecu will not comunicate with the ecu?
thanks

If the L322 OBD Socket is anything like the P38, a standard OBDII Scanner won't work on the EAS as is uses a different pin configuration of something....All I know is there are two leads for the Hawkeye, one for the EAS and another for all the other systems....

But then again, the ABS CANbus and the EAS share the same protocal, which is why when the ABS/HDC/EBC/CDC/DSC faults appear they are usually followed with a Air Susp. Inactive fault too.....

went to a dealer in romania today. turned out that because of the facelift lights fited to the vehicle, the eas module was not comunivating with the testbook. removed wiring from the lights an bingo1 t4 was comunicating with eas. repluged the lights after reseting errors and everything was fine
