L322 died whilst driving at night

Hi all,

Just changed my air springs and put on a new battery. All was really good today no problem but I have just been out in the dark and the car literally died on me!!!!! I had the window down and it started to rain so I closed the window and put on the wipers. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree then my head lights went off, stereo went off, then dash lights dimmed, then the engine began to stall. Very scary on a road with no street lights. Any ideas???????????

Thanks, recharged battery, checked all connections and now will check volts in the morning with engine running. The car started fine just so Im pretty sure its an alternator problem. Had alternators go on cars before but they never completely shut down it must be the amount of power the l322 consumes.

The electronics are a bit fussy about what they are fed
