L322 - Air Suspension Lights

Hi all,

Hoping you can help with my query on the air suspension on my L322. I bought it very recently with the 'air suspension inactive' message on the dashboard. I cleared the codes using the hawkeye and the error message has not reappeared on a couple of 40 minutes drives so far.

The air suspension now does work and the car visibly goes up and down accordingly. However, when selecting it to go up or down, it will flash in the direction chosen but never settle at a level (i.e. the orange flash goes solid on the up or down position). Is this normal? Should it flash or should it settle? If the latter, any ideas?

Thanks backinblack, any idea why mine continues to flash and does not turn solid? It turns solid when level but raising to off-road or lowering to access, it just flashes but the car does raise/lower (whether it does fully I am not sure)

Could be a faulty sensor and the ecu can't tell it's reached the correct height. How long have you left it to settle? sometimes my compressor overheats and shuts down then takes a few minutes to cool down before it carries on raising. IMO that would be more going up that down though.
