Start with battery and diagnostics.
Then comes the fun :)

Hi guys so yeah it's not the best idea in the world I have had but I'm up for a challenge ahaha

Im not shy of work but is this a lost cause should I just scrap the idea?

You wont know until you plug it in, then carry out some basic checks, compression, getting fuel/gettinig spark and so on.

Iirc there are something like 28 ecus in the range rovers?

Maybe ring a land rover breaker and see what they would give you for it, then offer that, so if its goes tits up at least you have a get out already planned.

Only you know that. Especially as you have tried nothing so far.
Also this is the introduction section. Technical questions are best in the relevant section for your model. Yours being the Range Rover section.
BTW we are not all 'guys'.

Okay sorry I was just asking a quick question I didn't mean to offend you I didn't mean it just as men only it was just how I put it but everything you have said I have noted

No offence here.
It may seem like a 'quick question', but no point it being in Introduce Yourself, where those who may have the answer don't/rarely visit.
Post it in the Range Rover section, it will get more views , more replies and probably the answer you search .
Have fun :)
