L322 2012 V8 4.4 Diesel - Dip Stick Removal

I'm planning on using the vacuum method to do an oil servive on the car, I've seen that its been done before.(https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic41966.html) But my question is how the hell does the non existant dipstick remove ? I've turned it anti clock and it pulls up an inch and thats it, it feels like more force would be required, this makes me think I'm not doing somehting right....anyone know ?? Thanks

Cup holders what are they?

I was after one of these cup holders for the rangie but no luck so far

Ms got one of them there cups (I got the posh stainless steel one) but never seen her hold it there.

maybe I should ask her to try.
