I am relatively new to this compared to the Saint and others on here but even in my short time here i have seen dozens, including myself, who get the thing home, or not sometimes, and then start finding faults which sometimes are an easy fix and sometimes involve major surgery.
Most of which involve a fair bit of cash even if you DIY.
As Saint says, unless you have tonnes of cash, in which case you would have bought a new range rover, then you better learn to fix it yourself or sell it quick

I have attached a photo which is my passenger side headlight wiper motor connection taken from looking down inside the bonnet behind the light. I can't see my drivers side one which may well be hidden behind the bumper or under the air filter box. that's not to say you will find yours there.
If you have a really friendly indy garage and a previously well looked after car then you could be lucky.
Getting yourself the Rave manual is a must, then an allcomms or similar diagnostic will save you a fortune in garage bills alone, and thirdly, keep posting on here as without this forum i would most likely be the proud owner of a 2.5 tonne garden shed...
