anybody know whether there i a difference between aircon, and nonaircon, and are they the same as the rover variants! mines ****ing fluid!:mad:

well only that aircon has a compressor with a clutch drive [extrabelt] but PAS leak is either pipes ,pump or steering modulater. . . .got to find out wear abouts yer leak is furst. . . .
 
its coming between the halves of the pump, i've had it in bits and regasketed it a few month back, but its leaking again now! so will the actual pump be the same aircon to nonair-con?

hi just had wifes done and yes there is a difference between the 2 also the one with out aircon was easy to get at the time and one with aircon i had to order
 
Just done mine on TD4. I'm sure there was only one type regardless of aircon. I do recall the LR parts guy saying it had changed in 2004 - mines a 2002.

£150 exchange or £250 new at LR parts for the TD4 version. You might get a cheapy on ebay. It got one via a dealer on their for £70.
 
Sorry missed the "L" thought it was a 1 :) Get me eyes tested.

Always worth a call to the stealers for parts and advise where possible, usually labour not parts thats the rip off.
