L series link pipe fit 06 td4?

I'm toying with the idea of fitting a l series link pipe (early type no cat/centre silencer) to my td4

I know the link pipe would come short of my td4 down pipe, so I would fit a decat pipe (looks like the flange decat-to-downpipe would need to be re-cut and positioned.)

But is the main rear section shape the same? And will my new td4 back box fit onto l series link?

I got some CAD drawings of the flanges at my computer at home. I can PM you them when im home this weekend and you can print and check if the flanges are the same.

That would be great. They seem to have the same metal flange gasket. So it could work with the correct modded decat pipe I hope
