Hi guys/gals having had a leak from the heater matrix for a while in summer and using rad weld to stop this i had to replace the coolant/antifreeze the very next day i noticed water dripping from the left hand side of the engine bay ( looking at front of car) it is dificult to see from under the bonnet as there are various belts and pulleys obstructing my view.. would i be correct in assuming first hand that the water pump seals have given the ghost up due to the thinning of the water with the antifreeze? Is the pump on the l series driven by alternator belt or timing belt? I would appreciate all and anyones experience on this please

Yes it's the water pump. I expect the radweld his affected it. I have come across a failed pump before that started shortly after an application of radweld.
