Hi,
I'm a 1st time poster, but have been lurking for a while. I recently purchased a 1998 Frelander 50th Anni diesel, which has a lot of the usual niggles which I'm slowly working through.
I've read a lot on here about the crankcase pressurising due to the filter becoming blocked. I've done a search but every thread it brought up was to do with the TD4 - does the L-series have this filter and if so is it also at the rear of the block?
Also, I've read a lot about blanking off the EGR on the TD4 - will this have the same benefit on the L-series, or is this more a TD4 specific problem due to its inlet manifold?
