Hi all puzzled again I knew I was loosing coolant but could find no leaks expansion tank is new thermostat is new water pump is new. So I purchased a ring uv leak detector kit and placed the dye in the cooling system i have run the car for four days and have just been under the bonnet with the uv torch no viciable signs of leaks however I shine the torch into the throttle body and found traces of the uv dye in the throttle body any ideas no oil in the coolant and no signs of coolant in the oil. Is there something on the cooling system that is linked to the intake ????

It sounds like you are getting coolant into the crankcase. This can happen through the inlet manifold gasket, HG fire rings or failing cylinder liner bottom seal. The KV6 runs hot enough to boil small quantities of coolant off from the oil, which then vents out the breather pipes.

Thanks for the info I have new inlet manifold gaskets I’ll try them first as I changed the thermostat and never replaced the inlet manifold gaskets
