hi all got td4 02 when changing gear and only when changing up through the gears there is a knocking that sounds like its coming from the back of the car any ideas what this could be anyone many thanks
 
you've been around a while, i'm surprised you haven't read about this one before or searched..............diff bushes?
 
ok done a seach cant find much on these bushes well on how to change them looked in the haynes manual and dont seem to cover how to change these bushes either
 
ok had a look at the bushes seems to be the one at the front of the rear diff but how do you get the old one out dont seem to be much room to get it out do u have to remove some think else as well
 
hi thanks for your help for a woman i dont think i am doing to bad do u so just undo the 3 bots on the old mounting and it will come out do i have to place a jack under the diff to take the weight
