Knocking at low speed

Hi All,

Changed my seats and put in glass sunroofs - simples !!

In the last two days i have been getting a quite loud knocking noise o/s front at very low speeds when accelarating slowly, then it goes away. Went to a car park and messed around fig of 8 etc but no noise. Seems to be more in a straight line then cornering. Any advice ???

Check all the engine, gearbox and IRD mounting bushes for wear.

Rear diff mounts

ARB drop links are common on freelanders and cheap n simple to fit..... jack it up and feel for any free play in your front ARB drop links.

Amend after last couple days.

When coming out of a corner with power i get the loud repeating knocking metal to metal noise from front os . Back of the power and ease it back gently it goes away or change gear. Put clutch in it also goes away. Also when driving the steering wheel sort of rocks, pulls up and down as if a tyre was out of balance. i think this will be a garage job ! Only had it 2 weeks and done 400 miles !!! Weird i have sort of bonded with it, or will it bond with my wallet ?
