Hi, wondered if anyone can suggest a reason for a quite loud click/knock sound when taking off? As you take your foot off the clutch and drive off this always happens. It did for a while happen when you put your foot on and off the throttle,I thought that sounded like backlash in a coupling or similar,but now it only happens on driving away and sometimes when changing direction sharply eg right to left.I admit I dropped a socket into the engine compartment which didn't reappear, and this seemed to start the initial noise, then one day I went over a bump ,it made about 3 clicks as if the socket dropped down somewhere and I am left with the current sound! Any suggestions anyone? Mike
