kick down is not working

Hi All
I have a 1998 300tdi auto, the kick down is not working and throttle pedal is very stiff, any help with how to access kick down cable, please.
also
when selector is in PARK it engages REVERSE, can this be adjusted.

YES both cables can be adjusted, down load a copy of RAVE the Land-Rover workshop manual for more info on how to do it.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately as soon as it downloads, a message comes up " A network error occurred while accessing this document on the Internet" have tried
reloading but no joy, any ideas? many thanks
