Hello
I have a 2009 freelander 2. The 2 key fobs that I have have been checked over by Jok the lok and found to be sending the signal to the car but the car doesn't seam to be picking up the signals being sent. While at his workshop he phoned another motor electrician who said that there is a receiver (I think that's what he called it) built into the car that receives the key signal, this receiver thingy can sometimes stop working properly due to its location and suffering with condensation issue, hence the car won't open or close with the key fobs. He also said that it is a plug and play part. Anyone know where this receiver thing is located? He says somewhere in the roof, rear ceiling light, another forum said its in the door. Please help
