Key fob wounded but it's ok

My key fob packed in the other day and and refused to lock my car.... I opened up the fob and could see nothing wrong checked the battery with my tongue and it hurt so that must be fine

Inspection of a closer kind was required, I had a very good look and found that the battery cage that's solderd to the board had two broken contacts....

The fix,
I wedged a bit of rizla packet into the back of the case to squeeze the cage back to the board hahah hay presto it works perfectly no solder or replacement needed, a permanent repair will follow but for now it's fine

with those batteries by licking them with your tongue you can discharge them very quickly also you are luck it did not blow as you were just sort circuiting them

And it's perverted..........

I did contemplate eating it to be honest but I don't do well with spicy food so gave it a miss, besides triple A batteries are much more delicate
