Just sold me p38 and got a 97 disco, i only have the one fob, can i use any fob and get it programmed to work with my disco? how is reprogramming done? is a stealer thing only?

the fob has a frequency specific transponder inside that matches to your alarm unit behind the passenger facia , you will need to buy one with the same frequency , you can buy used off ebay or buy new from Remote Key Fob Replacement

thanks for the info, my fob aint got the sticker on the back so i dont know the frequency ive writ the info down off the little silver thing inside the fob would that help identify the frqy?

Theres only one frequency for UK/Europe and thats 433MHz. It's the data thats transmitted on that frquency thats different
