you would be better off making regular changes on yer air filter, seeing as normal filters are about 5 times cheaper
 
it does on a turbo engined landy, as long as you then dont put stuff on, but nowt else, had one on the series for a while and it did nowt cept make an orrible noise when u revved

think the noise a snorkel makes, but alot worse
 
Will a K&N air filter make any difference to the performance on a diesel series 3? or will it just look i bit chavy under the bonnet!?

i ran my perkins 4203 with a k&n like cone filter, it ran a lot cooler than with the oil bath type, almost 1/4 of the temp gauge lower!

but it also made a hell of a lot more noise in the form of a very deep drone and annoying drone!
