Thanks for the encouragement Grit Valve. Previous owner replaced a rear airbag and they were fine for a few months then they sunk and don't lift now. He also fitted a temp sensor kit thingy to the ECU but it didn't cure the hot start, maybe not fitted correctly.Nice late-ish diesel £120 for the bags and check/ adjustment of your fip check ecu temp sensor and your on your way for less than £250 enjoy the comfort![]()

TaYou won't find anything like that with Haynes. Go to the HOW TO section and download RAVE from Wammers EAS guide. That might also help you diagnose the problem with the rear suspension.

And buy a laptop, daughters one recently gave up.And / or talk to Datatek about getting his EAS to computer lead and software on disc. You'll probably need this to sort out your EAS and he burns a copy of RAVE onto the disc as well.
This should keep you going until you sell some of your Series bits and convert a bit of the proceeds into one of the diagnostic kits.
Yes, the previous owner fitted the hot start kit but he isn't sure if he done it right.Nowt wrong with a properly installed timer controlled hot start fix, cheaper and quicker than re-timing.
Better first to find out if the hot start problem is not related to a sensor problem etc.
This could still happen.Lol my ltop onces packed up when i had eas problems ended up seting the pc up on the back seat lol
