No, a rag soaked in lacquer thinner. It helps keep me calm. It's like my woobie.

My thoughts exactly! I've taken the day off work specially to pace up and down the kitchen waiting like an expectant parent for this...

I'm working nights and figured it was best if I hang around until the last minute in case Roy accidentally hits delete instead of copy and paste. :p

Should thread update notifications still be in place?
I noticed the watched thread function which is nice, but then saw a load of updates to my subscribed threads and I've not had any emails from them to let me know.. how do I fox that prease?

Given that Vbulletin 4 and Vbulletin 5 have been out for some time, why migrate to a new platform? It is usually fairly painless to step up.

Our (much smaller) forum is still on Vbulletin 3.8.2. but although we bought a licence for VB4 we never made the move. Too many examples of forum owners jumping into it before it was sorted. Haven't looked at VB5, but would probably go that route if we had to.

I don't know if you follow what goes on with vBulletin, but I do. The new software is terrible, buggy and extremely slow for large sites. The support there is awful and honestly, the software is not a patch on xenForo. I know change is hard, but once you get used to this, it is a huge improvement. I used to love vBulletin, thats why we started with them 10 or so years ago, but times change.

Sorry, I don't find the interface at all better than the old one, but accept that VB 3 might have stretched itself too far.

I'll give it a couple of weeks and see if I can make any changes to the colours to make it more readable.

I use a 21" screen at home and at work, so no problems on clarity on other forums, Landrovernet seem to have done OK with VB4 ?

Changing the text colour after posting seems an odd function, it is fine in black on white, why make it more difficult to read?

It is better with Firefox, but I don't want to have to change my browser just to look at Landyzone. The old one worked on everything, including my Galaxy Tab 4 with no problems.

How do you "Unwatch" or "Unsubscribe" from a thread?
