hi new on here ,has anyone had these fault before everything fine when i stopped came back 15 mins later restarted and no brake lights ,inds,wipers,all gauges off on dash this 89 defender, has autowatch immobiliser fitted by last owner wich on inspection nse burned a strip of solder ,i think possibly has some shorted wires behind dash

on the fuse banks the left hand one has power to the top two but all rest are dead,if i put a live from top to any of the rest a strong blue spark,if fuse removed touch outward side all systems go

rails inside the main fusebox are fried only remedy to that is a new one

It is likely that it's the ignition switch. Just wiggle the key a bit in the ignition when you've started it up and see if that helps. Mine does this!

theres no power to the large white wire ,it had an autowatch immobiliser connected,
the white wire was cut and soldered to imob
