Now then. Done a few jobs on the Landy recently, and all at the same time, so I'm not sure which is the source of my problem and a little confused.

Symptoms

Jerky, Juddery, kangarooing a little on set off in 1st high. Does not seem to be an issue at all in 1st low. Sometimes a little clank from the back on set off also. Very occasionally the sound you get when you are struggling to get in gear but only when changing into 4th and sound only comes on as I let the clutch up.

Things recently done

All clutch hydraulics replaced
Clutch fork replaced
Transfer box changed

Outstanding stuff/possible problems

I've not done anything with the handbrake yet, so it may be catching slightly (it's currently not connected, just got the cable tucked in the chassis).

Clutch master cylinder replaced but I've not made any adjustment to the clutch pedal height - how critical is this?

Previously I've not had any gearbox issues/noises.
The replacement transfer box has less play between the front and rear than my previous one.

Once the vehicle is moving and your foot is off the clutch, you won't get any vibration from a warped flywheel. Just heavy juddering as you pull off that sends shocks through the whole car depending how bad.

Come to think of it, I did have some fun and games realigning the gearbox and engine. It's possible that it may have caught and crushed the clutch plate, but I don't remember that happening. I don't suppose it takes much of a knock with the weights involved.
