Hi All,
Would be very grateful for your advice - I have a 2011 FL2 TD4 HSE automatic. It's done 87k from new. It's been fully main dealer serviced.
My problem is intermittent but when starting off from stationary, as the car is accelerating to between 20-30 mph, there is jerking and what I can only describe as a noise like a clutch slipping. As the speed increases further, the jerking and noise disappear. It's been happening on and off for about a year and predictably didn't show itself when the car was last serviced.
I realise that there's not a lot to go on but has anyone got any ideas what this might be? The car has otherwise been very reliable, I've never off-roaded it, and the only major fault has been a failed Haldex unit.
Have had a look through the Freelander section but not seen this problem described anywhere. Thanks in anticipation.
