JB transmissions

I am in the unfortunate position of having to have my range rover gearbox changed/refurbed less that a year after buying it....

I have been quoted £3000 by a couple of local garages for taking out the gearbox - sending it on a pallet to one of a couple of companies specialising in rebuilding these things - and then refitting.

I found numerous Ads one bay for JB transmission - claiming to do the entire job for in the region of £1200.

Has anyone else used these guys?
Can anyone suggest cheaper option than the £3000 I'm staring at??

OP you could do worse than contact Bemble (RR Phil on RR net), he's a genius with the L322 auto box's
